Dr. Yu received her Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in New York and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. She completed her residency in general surgery at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, New York. Afterward, she pursued her fellowship in surgical critical care at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York.
Dr. Yu specializes in general surgery, acute care surgery, hernia surgery, gallbladder surgery, and breast surgery. She ensures her patients understand their condition and always answers any questions they may have.
