Dr. Sheppard is a general surgeon with interest in intra-abdominal surgeries including biliary disease, intestinal, colon, hernias, skin and soft tissue, and breast surgeries. She is trained in minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic and robotic, as well as open surgery.

About Dr. Sheppard
Full Bio
Dr. Sheppard completed two masters degrees with research focusing on stem cell biology and medical sciences before graduating from medical school at Touro University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, and then completed her residency at Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey. She has been working with Surgical Specialists of New York and New Jersey since 2025 and has been caring for patients in New Jersey and the New York City area. Her practice includes all aspects of general surgery, including skin and soft tissue lesions, breast, colons pathologies, biliary disease, hernias, and thyroid surgery.
