Kok-min Kyan, MD

Dr. Kok-min Kyan, MD, is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with more than 25 years of experience in women's healthcare. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (since 1998) and has been a licensed physician in the State of New York since February 23, 1999.

Dr. Kyan earned his Medical Doctor degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York (1989–1993), following completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the City College of New York (1984–1989). He completed his post-graduate residency training at Staten Island University Hospital from 1993 to 1998, where he developed comprehensive expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kyan has maintained active hospital privileges and a strong commitment to clinical excellence and resident education. From 1999 to 2019, he practiced with Continuum Health/HIP/MPG/Advantage Care Physicians and served at Saint Luke Roosevelt Hospital, where he performed deliveries, managed a wide range of obstetrical and gynecological conditions, and supervised OB/GYN residents.

Since 1999, he has been affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital, where he continues to perform deliveries and gynecologic surgeries while contributing to resident training.

Currently, Dr. Kyan is part owner of Lenox OBGYN, with offices located in Manhattan. He provides comprehensive obstetrical care, gynecologic surgery, and continuity of care for women across all stages of life. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Burmese, he serves a diverse patient population. He is also a member of the OBGYN Hospitalist Society.
