About Dr. Dossa
Full Bio
I was born in NYC and received my education across the United States. After completing my training, I had a longing to return to the Big Apple and I am glad I did. This is home.I was attracted to Vascular Surgery because you get to know your patients well and develop a special bond. Many times it is possible to offer multiple treatment options: medical therapy alone, conventional open surgery or endovascular therapy involving balloons and stents. As a Vascular Surgeon you are trained to personally perform all these procedures and thus able to recommend the best treatment to your patient, not one treatment fits all.
I take care of my patients the same way I would like my family to be taken care of-no different. I do all aspects of Vascular Surgery and have special interest in carotid disease, PAD (leg blockages), dialysis access and varicose veins.
Beyond the operating room, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, exercising, exploring the city, and traveling.
