Charles Ruotolo, MD

Dr. Charles Ruotolo, MD, is the Founder and President of Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and Chairman of Orthopedics at Nassau University Medical Center. A top graduate of New York Medical College, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at SUNY Stony Brook and fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery in California. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Ruotolo specializes in advanced arthroscopic shoulder and sports injury care. He has published widely, teaches other surgeons nationally, and has been recognized as a Castle Connolly and Newsday Top Doctor, as well as a multiple-time Best Orthopedist on Long Island recipient.
